2. In short

The app thinkstrudel does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to the developer. There are no accounts, no servers of my own, no analytics or advertising services and no disclosure to third parties.

3. The app

Your entries. Everything you write in the app stays on your device. Entries are stored in the app and as text files (YYYY-MM-DD.md) in a folder that you choose yourself. I have no access to them.

Access to your folder. The app uses Android's folder picker. It only accesses the folder you selected in order to write, read and update diary files there. It does not access other files, photos, contacts or location data. You can change the folder in the app at any time or revoke access in the Android settings.

No analytics, no ads. The app contains no advertising, no trackers and no crash-reporting or statistics services.

4. Purchases via Google Play

The first 30 entries are free. Unlocking the app is done via Google Play (one-time purchase or annual subscription). Payment is processed exclusively by Google. I only receive from Google the information whether an unlock exists (purchase status), no payment or account data. Google's privacy notice applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

5. This website

The website thinkstrudel.com uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services and no external fonts or scripts. When you visit it, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (for example IP address, date and time, requested page) in server log files in order to deliver the page and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider is Hostinger International Ltd. or the Hostinger company responsible for your region. A data processing agreement is in place.

6. Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your email address and your message solely to reply to it (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once your request has been dealt with and no retention obligations apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for your place of residence. Email me at thinkstrudel@gmail.com.

8. Changes

I will update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The current version is always available here.
